Hey up!

Im british so I speak with a poshish accent and like tea, (milk, 2 sugars)

I'm from Manchester uk! not really the place where dreams are made, so after a brief 7 month tour of south America and India ill be settling in New Zealand, probably Auckland at this point, i may already be there if i havnt updated my profile.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe travel is not so much about the sights but more in immersing yourself in the culture, id rather have a beer with some new people than visit "insert must see destination here". That said i do like to see and embrace new things as well, but its important to get the balance right. I strongly believe that it is near on impossible to waste a day travelling, there is some good to every situation

I like to think I'm pretty laid back and easy going, always up for a beer or two and will talk to just about anyone! I am interested in most things and will try just about anything!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to couch surfing so any advice much appreciated!

right... ive been carrying a f###ing djembe with me round south america for the last 6 odd months, can i play it? can i balls... if you can teach me how to play it let me know... ill be your friend for life...

unlike the djembe, i can play the guitar, i'm also into photography, although my camera was pinched in colombia...

This is Difficult, done so many Amazing things, that I cant pick an absolute favorite, I reckon boating down the amazon, with my djembe was one of lifes highlights..

Ive got a guitar and a djembe, and while I'm not an expert on either I can show anyoen the basics, or hopefully someone will be able to show me how its done to a better degree... although not the djembe... i know one shitty rhythm... i can teach you that.
