ABOUT ME

I'm intensely enthusiastic, cheerful, passionate, energetic, intelligent, friendly, manic, surreal, bombastic, playful, curious and affectionate.

Currently I'm in the middle of a transition from respectably employed to full-time artist. I'm taking a year to adventure, travel, write music and build my business.

Once upon a time I wrote software for money. This still happens when it can't be avoided.

I'm a DJ/producer, writing psychedelic tech-funk. This is my main passion and my primary focus, so I talk about it constantly. I also teach (privately and at music schools), which is almost like being a grown-up.

Burning Man is a huge part of my life. I go to several regional events each year, and volunteer my copious free time to burn-related projects.

I'm committed to responsible, evidence-based hedonism. I believe in better living through chemistry.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I lived in New Zealand and Australia I had a spare room. It was open to the Burning Man community and we had guests through constantly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never actually used Couchsurfing before, but I've been hosting people who do for years.
