CURRENT MISSION

I don't really view my life as a mission; that sounds a little messianic. But, you know, enjoying and learning and having worthwhile experiences and meeting wonderful people and all that satisfies me immensely.

ABOUT ME

Writing about myself fills me with fear, but I'll give it a try. I'm a really interesting person, who is interested in many different things and loves travelling. I have lived in three different countries in my life (shortly to be four),although two of them are quite small and next to each other (Estonia and Latvia). Going to different challenging places is thrilling for me and I am attempting to restructure my life as much as possible to enable me to do it semi-permanently. I hope I am friendly and open-minded at least the majority of the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only just signed up, but I hope to be able to host people wherever I am, since just taking from people without giving is not cool and that. For the next two months I will be homeless, but hopefully after that I should be able to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As yet, none. But I have been drinking with Couchsurfers on very many occasions.

Interests

Many many interests - all music ever recorded by anyone (with a few exceptions, but seriously a lot of music), literature (I read a lot), travel OBV, football (well, basically Liverpool FC), learning difficult and peculiar languages (Latvian/Estonian/open to other stuff), writing, and a lot of other stuff.

I am a native speaker of English, with a degree in the subject and have loads of experience teaching/proofreading/advising/offering voice services etc. related to the language. Hopefully this is something I could exchange to anyone interested in learning.
