Overview
About Me
Ive I'm a visual artist working with video, images and objects. I've lived and worked in Manchester (UK) for 10 years. I finished my Fine Art MA last year. I used to live in Austria so i speak a bit of German. I work at University of Salford, teaching students how to use filmmaking equipment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
If i come to stay with you, it's probably because you live near something I want to make work about. It could also be because i have a screening or an exhibition in the area, or maybe i want to get away from my current project for a few days.
I like hotels for the same reason I like airports- they're transient and anonymous. They make great meditative spaces, but if you spend too much time floating around lobbies you forget what the world is like. Sofa surfing is a way of leaving the 'mental lobby'. I won't write too much about the kind of host i'm looking for, because the point is to abandon package experiences.

Teach, Learn, Share
Truly formative things always come out of left field, don't you think?
What I Can Share with Hosts
There are times when i have a plane to catch, or an appointment, or something I need to go and look at by myself. But the rest of the time, I can tell you stories about my life and my work and the things I've seen and read, if you want me to. I like hearing stories as well, so you can tell me yours if you want to. I can feed myself and read quietly, but we could also cook and eat together.
