关于我

CURRENT MISSION

deep, broad, fun playful love, friendship, growth, community, magic, Light

ABOUT ME

All about me? Man o' man - that's a big question. So many phases/evolutions/transformations thus far. I grew up really into sports throughout high school, became super Christian for a while there through most of college & the end of high school, even to the point of studying to become a priest for 4.5 years. I studied philosophy at USF, which eventually helped me justify abandoning my Christian faith. Since then I got really into existentialism, then later on into indigenous spiritual practices of southern and northern native Americans. I've worked in alternative health for 6 years now as a fitness trainer, exercise therapist, blood analysist and nutrition coach/public educator and also one year in americorps (which is basically domestic peace corps.) Been all over the world working abroad, traveling, praying, partying, looking around soaking it in and delighted in the waves of crazy beautiful beaches, hiking jungles and mountains, diving in waterfalls and deep ocean, zip lines, churches, mosks, and beloved backpacker hovels, luxury hotels with billionaires, music festivals, psychadellic plant medicine ceremonies, vegan feasts, carnivorous feasts, full moon parties, tee pees and sweat lodges, night clubs and nature. I love it all.

PHILOSOPHY

"We have no dreams at all or interesting ones...we should learn to be awake in the same way - either not awake at all or in an interesting manner." Freidrich Neitzsche
I can't seem to help but follow my passions in life. I'm, by natural inclination, an extremist. I dive into things wholeheartedly with complete sincerity and passion and run with them as long as I'm inspired to do so, then, if things run dry, I move on. If things break I feel it and all that goes along with crashing while I learn remarkable things from it, pick myself up and start sprinting again. Why do I live - after 8 years of studying philosophy, the best answer I got for you is for the fun of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love all the awesome people I meet through couch surfing - I mean, think about it: only super openhearted, fun loving people would open their homes to travelers they haven't met yet. What are we all looking for? Connection, fun, love, learning, yes...So I participate by being up for the game of meeting people & making friends, seeing the value in each person I met and knowing my own worth - knowing that my presence is a blessing and that my staying at somebody's place isn't a burden on them - rather, its part of the cure of the isolation we sometimes feel in the world, especially the modern world. I bring light and self worth and fun and appreciation to everyone I stay with and, when I do have a place to share with others, I gladly do. Much love and appreciation to all of you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couched surfed in Austin, Texas for a couple months and to this day still rave about what a great experience it was. I stayed at three different places and made a bunch of friends in the process, and the third place I stayed offered me a room on an ongoing basis because one of the dudes there was moving out - the 2 month experience of couchsurfing magically made me feel really well at home in a brand new city because I had formed multiple circles of friends by dropping in with those different houses - and they were all really amazing people too so, all in all, it was fantastic. That's why I'm stoked to do it again during my next move to L.A. - I have a bunch of friends moving to L.A. with me, and I'm stoked to find a place with them, but still want to couch surf also mainly to make friends and build community. Love.

教,学,和分享

I have some really powerful healing modalities I can shared with those with whom I stay. I am an exercise therapist - which means I can give you a brief set of personalized, simple, easy exercises you can then do on your home with no equipment necessary that eliminate most if not all of any muscle/joint pain, discomfort, impaired function, etc. It's a borderline miraculously effective method that produces immediate, authentic, and sustainable solutions to muscle/joint problems - e.g. back pain, knee problems, carpel tunnel, neck/should pain, etc. Check out the brand of exercise therapy I do at www.egoscue.com

I also perform live blood analysis and nutritional coaching - which is AMAZING to see into your own bloodstream to see how your diet and lifestyle is actually impacting you at the cellular level. Check out my website at www.phitness.us
