ABOUT ME

I am a 21 year old student from Australia. My passions are playing and listening to music (I play guitar and used to play tenor saxophone for a long time, and I make electronic music), getting to see nature and wildlife (walking through the forest and camping), getting lost in foreign cities, cinema and having interesting conversations with people.

I am about 80% through a finance/law degree but these aren't things that hold my interest very well - I started when I was 17 and didn't realise what I was getting into. But I enjoy being at university and the holidays give me a great opportunity to travel which I take full advantage of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live at home with my parents and don't have a spare couch, I am currently travelling for 3 months and have got most of my accommodation sorted except a few places so I am hoping to surf/meet new people through CS to give me a more local perspective on cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never surfed though CS, I have stayed with friends and friends of friends many times and have never been a troublesome guest and if you were to host me, I'm very respectful and I'm sure I'd get the hang of it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite movie is Lost in Translation, book would be either On The Road by Kerouac or Papillon by Charriere. Music is harder, I like anything from Rachmaninoff to Coltrane to Sigur Ros and am a big hip hop fan - listening to A$AP Rocky at the moment and Drake and love classics like Wu Tang and Nas and Common Sense etc.
