CURRENT MISSION:

I've seen most of the USA. And I want to explore the world.

ABOUT ME:

Single (divorced), white, male, non-smoker. I come from a large family; my mother gave birth to 12 children! I have lived in Ohio and Kentucky most of my life. I go to Hawaii as often as possible. I enjoy reading, traveling, movies, listening to most types of music, spending time with friends and family, dinning out, and being active in my church. Human Rights Campaign member. Avid community volunteer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING:

CS was recommended to me by my good friend, Penny. So far I've met some interesting people. I look forward to surfing the USA and Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:

I've hosted a number of travelers from across the US and other countries. The experiences have been very interesting. I can't wait to begin surfing now that I've retired.

Love all types of books, especially murder mysteries: Patterson, Kellerman, Grisham, Evanovich, Grafton.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Parasailed 3 times, once in Mexico (omg).
I was 2 blocks from the Pentagon on 9/11. Love Niagra Falls, any ocean/beach, all of DC.
There's no place like Hawaii...so far. Climbed Diamond Head many times, snorkled Hanauma Bay. Napali Coast is da kine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn other languages besides English. Especially French.
I want to live in Spain to expand my Spanish, travel to France to explore my roots, and UK to sleep in a castle. I'm a teacher at heart. I enjoy helping other people expand themselves by sharing my experiences, knowledge and skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love showing folks around Northern KY and greater Cincinnati, with it's many historic areas and wonderful architecture. The Ohio River provides great views from all sides. Sharing my life and work experiences.
