I won't go in extreme details but here is my story:

I am a 19 year old man who lives in Québec city. I've had the chance to live in Vancouver when I was little and I have traveled all around my country. My parents are both francophones but since I lived in Vancouver and that I attended english school, I am fluent in French and English. From age 11 to 18 I played soccer (Football for Europeans) at a high level. This sport made me who I am today and has taught me valuable life lessons. As an athlete I've had the chance to travel twice in Spain and once in England. At the age of 16, I did an exchange with a teen from Spain. Over there, I learned Spanish. I am proud to say that I am now fluent in this language. I am currently on the verge of completing my college degree in computer science and I am looking forward to reward myself with a month-long trip to Italy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was 16 years old, I did an exchange trip with a Spaniard. The positive experience that I have lived during that short month made me eager to travel the world. Believe it or not, in one month in Madrid, I have learned Spanish to a decent level. When I go out on a trip to a foreign location, I just have so much ease learning and most importantly, adapting to the culture. The reason why I am on Couchsurfing is to feel the same rush I felt when I was 16 years old. The adrenaline of traveling alone and yet, feeling at home in the house of the exchangee.

I do photography in my free time, I can take great pictures of you during my stay. I speak French, English and Spanish fluently! It will be my pleasure to exchange with you in any these 3 languages (or in Italian which I am currently learning). I can also show you a trick or two on your computer as I have a degree in computer science.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In my opinion, the advantage a host gets by hosting a traveler is that he gets a glimpse of the traveler's culture. Not only can I offer you a slice of my country's culture, I can transfer you my passion for my home.
