I'm an exchange student from The Netherlands, currently living in Bangkok, Thailand. I study International Business Management with a minor in Mandarin Chinese language.
I came to Thailand for my exchange, so that I could travel all over Asia, to experience Asian cuisines and cultures.
I'm very interested in learning about the history and culture of other countries, but my first and foremost interest is cuisine, and it shows! Language is another thing that I can really appreciate, which is why I try to study so many of them, perhaps too many at the same time.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it would be a much more interesting and rewarding way to travel and stay with or meet local people through this platform, rather than just go somewhere and visit all the standard touristic things.

My favourite music ranges from Classical music, to Rock/Metal, to Soundtrack, I especially love Disney songs!
My favourites Movie genres would have to be Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Horror.
I used to read fantasy books in the best, such as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, but find that nowadays reading has lost its appeal to me, for now..

Something I've done that I think is amazing is decide to do an exchange programme on the other side of the world, in a very different culture and environment than I was used to at that time. I'm enjoying this experience very much!
