My name is Wim de Boer, my love for travelling started with 2 volunteer aidprojects in Zambia and Guatemala. I found out that I love meeting new people/culture more than meet new places/nature. However a combi is offcourse the best!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I backpacked for two weeks in the Netherlands and discovered the need for hospitality and places to stay. I also love the idea of sharing and meeting new people. For me using Couchsurfing is a way to promote sharing, meeting and helping. I belief its the opposite site of fear and individualism which can dominate culture easily these days.
