About Me
Hey, I’m Wim! I’ve been living in Freiburg for the past two years, where I’m studying Sustainable Systems Engineering. But to be honest, I spend a lot of my time outside of university exploring other passions—whether it’s sports, crafting things by hand, or diving into new skills beyond my studies. I love variety, adventure, and trying new things!
When I’m not studying or exploring, you’ll probably find me at the ice café where I work. I’m really into the art of coffee-making. Music is also a big part of my life—I love listening to different techno genres, and I recently started DJing and producing electronic music.
I enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, and exchanging ideas. Whether it’s over a coffee, a good track, or a spontaneous adventure, I’m always up for meaningful connections and new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling in a way that connects me with people. That’s why I enjoy hitchhiking, low-budget trips, and sleeping in nature. For me, the best adventures come from spontaneous encounters and local experiences.

I live in a shared flat where sometimes a room is available, but there’s always space for a sleeping mat. We enjoy hosting travelers whenever it fits our schedule and love meeting new people from around the world. If the timing works out, we’re happy to share our space
