i love going to places that are different, getting in touch with other cultures, and of course meeting locals. At the other hand, similar people are more than welcome to my place in the city center of Ghent.

ABOUT ME

So, where do i start..
I am 28 years old, and im living in my own appartment in Ghent, 17th floor with a nice view over our city.
I ve joined the couchsurfing community because i just love travelling.. I love getting in touch with different cultures, experiencing totally different things, meeting people from all over the world.. I love it all.

PHILOSOPHY

my personal philosophy? Thats a hard one.. I just try hard to make the best out of my life.. I am very open minded, and i love to try things.. taking risks.. I try not to live for the future too much.. My life is going on right now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So i met a guy in India, and he is a host in Mumbai.. so at the end of my trip i was allowed to stay at his place. He showed me a different part of the city..
That was the moment i decided i wanted to do this myself.
Meeting travellers, hosting, showing them around..
This way, i can help people getting the best out of their trip.. And this way, i can stay in touch throughout the year with what i love the most, the world, the people, travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only had one experience with couchsurfing, and it was a great one, really. I was travelling alone for the first time this year, and i think this community is especially great for those who are travelling without a partner.. It was really the cherry on the cake..
I want to experience more of that, and help other people in the same way..

Interests

most of all the travelling, ofcourse.
Further on i love music , going out, having friends over, meeting friends, the sun, a beer.. a good movie..

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally like all types of music, if its good..
I dont read so much when im back home.. But when im travelling i really need to have a good book with me..
I prefer the non-fiction genre, or something really funny..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It s probably not a surprise but the most spectacular time of my life was when i was travelling.. I really love Asia.. I just cant get enough of it.. The people, the nature.. Love it..
I love diving, its like visiting a different world full of color.
And i also love the swapping of stories with people from all over the world.
My favorite country so far? Thats like asking a parent which one is his/her favorite child..
