We are Wind ♂ and Leaf ♀, a couple from Malaysia who start to travel together since 2012. We left our footprints at 13/13 states in Malaysia, as well as several countries from Asia to South Pacific Oceania.

Wind is a typical outdoor enthusiast while Leaf is passionate about culture, and that's why our definition of perfect journey must be including of trekking, hiking, and visit to museum.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

From time to time, stay in backpacker hostel is the first choice when we travelling, but later on we did camping and HelpX (Help for Accommodation) in New Zealand, and even a Campervan Road Trip at Great Ocean Road, Australia, which make our journey more delightful. Recently, we heard quite a lot of CouchSurfing experiences from our friends, and we decided why not give it a try on our next journey! That's why here we are!

Wind and Leaf: Working Holiday in New Zealand for 9 months, Travelling around New Zealand, Tonga Kingdom and Australia (From Adelaide to Melbourne) for another 4 months! Our journey including 5 HelpX in NZ and 1 HelpX in Australia. (2015/2016)

One of the interesting things about travel is to teach and learn. We know to say Hi and Thanks in more than 10 languages! Will share with you when we meet. Don't you think that pick up a little piece of new language on the road is the best souvenir! :D

We used to prepare food for our host when we did HelpX. If you wish to try some Malaysian/Chinese food or some pastries, we will not mind to occupy your kitchen for a while. Hope you don't mind to share some of your secret of cooking too. ;)
