ABOUT ME

I love to travel and one of my goals is to travel to 30 countries before I turn 50. I enjoy cooking and hosting. I believe eating is a great way to connect people. I have a tendency to get OCD when it comes to organizing transportations for my trips because I was once stranded in Paris, France without a place to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One of my friends was always talking about CS and the great communities it has. I was apprehensive about joining, but for my trip to India I decided to find out more about CS and joined.

The first time I surfed was probably one of the scariest things I have ever done. When I travel, I like to organize all my travel and hotel plans. It was easier for me to put my trust in a hotel than a stranger that I've connected through a website. However, my surfing experiences have showed me that CS is a community I can trust and changed my mind on travel, or some of it. I'm still a planner and like to check all my boxes :D
