Coast-to-coast motorcycle ride with my brother! It's a life-long dream coming to fruition now, June 28 - July 28, 2008, from Virginia Beach, VA to Santa Monica, CA via Rt 66, then back via Yosemite, Sturgis, Milwaukee....

ABOUT ME

....CS in the USA June 28 - July 28.....
I'm going on a coast-to-coast motorcycle trip with my brother, JUNE 28 to JULY 28, the fruition of a life-long dream. We will spend the entire month of July riding our two Harleys across the US. We will start at Virginia Beach, VA. Our route will include Louisville, KY: Kansas City, KS; Tulsa and Oklahoma City, OK; Amarillo, TX; Albuquerque, NM; Flagstaff, AZ; Los Angeles, CA; Santa Cruz, CA; San Jose, CA; Lake Tahoe, CA; Yosemite, and then back east through Idaho, Wyoming and Sturgis, SD to Milwaukee, WI and beyond.
Our timing/schedule is flexible, of course. We have accomodations in a few of the places already, including the Grand Canyon and Milwaukee to the east coast, but we're hoping for some help with overnights along the way from CS folks, including San Jose and other points enroute.
If anyone out there has an interest in our travels, motorcycles, cultural exchange, or just helping out with a couch, shower or a backyard to camp in, we'd be grateful for the opportunity to meet you!

I'm a very easy-going guy, but with lots of energy for life! I'm a non-smoker and social drinker.
I've been operating my computer consulting business for 13 yrs. I've also worked for other major computer firms in the past. I'm a retired US Navy veteran.
I'm also a private pilot, but I don't get to fly very often and look forward to doing more of that.
For fun, I ride a 1995 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider motorcycle and also have a 1990 Corvette. The Harley gets out often, but the 'Vette stays mostly in my garage.
I enjoy getting out on the Harley alone or with friends for relaxing scenic rides, as a social event.
I am a single father of a handicapped son, so I am very involved in charity and benefit events. Jason loves to ride on the back of the Harley!
I also enjoy bicycling, sometimes with Jason on a trailing bike attached to mine. He's a great guy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've attended the Sturgis motorcycle event, and many others such as Myrtle Beach, Daytona, York PA, Rolling Thunder in Washington DC. The camaradarie is fantastic and it's all good fun and good times! Lots of cross-country Harley time! (But I'm no Dennis Hopper ;-)
Flying! I've flown cross-country in the US, by small plane. Attending the huge fly-in at Oshkosh, Wisconsin was fantastic, and I even won a prize in the sweepstakes drawing there last year!
