ABOUT ME

I am a Taiwanese girl who is studying in Lund, I majored in Geography and now I am in Economic History department right now. I am an active girl and I like to be around people. I hope one day I could travel around the world especially going to Africa and Latin America, seeing the real world by my own eyes. I have been traveling to many countries, such as India, Nepal, Cambodia, Turkey, USA, UK and some West European countries.

I love listen to music, Jazz, classical, alternative, and light rock. I had learnt playing piano for ten more years. Moreover, I like to read novels, go for a movie when I have free time.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is like an adventure, just like traveling. We never knew what will be happened next second. Sometimes, we expected for something, but it never came.
I will accept every challenges when it come to my life. Whenever I decide to fight with it for reaching my own dream or aim, I will try my best to solve the problems. No matter how tough the process is, I won't feel regret because of the process I learnt more, experience more about life and reality. Someday it would be useful. I might help someone else out with those experience. Although it is tough I still try hard to manage them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in Taiwan, I had a lot of friends in Taiwan. When I traveled around the island, I lived in my friends' house with their family. Sometimes, I cooked with their parents and talked to them. I had very happy experience with them when I was traveling.

I also went to Holland and Germany during New year. I lived in a Taiwanese student's place. I met so many her friends, and they all so nice. We celebrate new year together, and had international food party. I met so many good friends during that time. I was a nice experience for me.

This is why I am so happy when my friend mentioned coachsurfing here and register to be new member without any hesitated.

Interests

I like listen to music, play tennis, read novels, hang out with friends, traveling, and taking pictures

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Nepal last winter, I saw there is no light, no water supply and people were live in the Hand-made wood house.
However, they live by self-sufficient, they have nothing " modern equipment". In addition, most of the resources are gathered by those big group in their village. Most of inhabits in the village are relatively poor compare to those big hoteliers or restaurant owners .
When we give out pens, candies, paper, or whatever, those children felt so happy. However, since they don't know what is recycle, how to deal with those garbage. Those plastic bags that tourist "donate" was thrown on the ground. When the animal came, they ate them. It could be a catastrophe for their land environment, and health.
At that time I am confused, do I give out my things. I would like to, but is it good for them or opposite?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share about the experience in some Asia countries, and I knew more about Geography. I also play piano. I could teach, but I cannot memorize the melody in my mind right now, so I could play some music that I remembered. Exchange language, Chinese
