Hi! I’m Winston, a 25 year old from Hong Kong, and spent time across a few places in the world (Ghana, Ireland), but now call Washington DC home - I’m easygoing, and love socializing + learning about people’s experiences, how they approach/do things, as well as what animates them. I work at a climate justice think tank, and care a lot about what a democratically planned and justice oriented economy could look like. I am eager to walk through little nooks of the places, eat at local holes in the wall where we might only be able to communicate through hand gestures, meet new connections, and more generally expand my horizons/try new things. As a guest, I’m respectful, clean, communicative and self-aware. Looking forward to meeting folks here!

Interested in viewing new places through a local’s eyes - I’ve done a fair bit of solo traveling, and got by well with travel recs, but realized nothing beats experiencing small things and places that are only locally known with someone from there!
