ABOUT ME

Describe myself.. *sigh*, not the easiest thing to do. Let's see: people say I am very funny. And most times that is true! I love to meet with friends and have a good time. I am not so much the night-clubber anymore (well, it starts to return..... can be fun even if you're over 30). I am fond of spending time in the nature. I like to cook with friends. I love to visit different cities, abroad and also in Germany.
But for most of these things I do not have the time anymore because I happen to have 3 kids since I joined couchsurfing.com. So they fill my days pretty much. That is also why I only can host "maybe".

PHILOSOPHY

Man sollte die Dinge so nehmen wie sie kommen. Aber man sollte auch dafuer sorgen, dass sie so kommen, wie man sie nehmen moechte. (Curt Goetz) Maybe someday I will try to make a good translation of that...

I met with some couchsurfers in sweden and had a very funny evening together. And we had one very nice dancer girl from Amsterdam staying with us for two nights a few years ago. Thats it so far...

I like many different kinds of books. For example "Auf der Suche nach dem verlorenen Glück" - it's very touching!
