About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Sharing my most meaningful learnings in hopes of being a sponge among others

ABOUT ME

I enjoy moving from place to place, and building relationships with people through shared work and shared passion. Half of me wants to root into the ground and live somewhere for a whole four seasons, while the other half pines for physical adventure. Perhaps as I age, I find that I would rather spend a relaxing, slow night around a campfire or in a comfortable room with a small group than do anything loud and in nice clothes.

PHILOSOPHY

I used to like writing "art is the future of happiness" where my pen could find open spaces.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Thus far, I have taken from the Couchsurfing community, without the necessary couch to give back. I have surfed in Montreal, Quebec, and in Eugene, Oregon. A major short-term goal of mine is to secure a peaceful parcel of land with friends, upon which we can experiment with natural buildings and sustain our stomachs. One of our first buildings will be a couch house, at which point I will be glad to host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing place I have ever seen is right outside the tiny Oregon town of Coquille. It is a place called the Cob Cottage Company, and it is the realization of a magical hobbit village with no waste, no violence, and little money. It is run by a gnome from Wales, with gleaming blue eyes and a crooked smile.
