A girl who works hard to make her dreams come true. :)

Well... What I can say about myself? All I can say is I am tiny&short! Hahaha! I could not really tell you what kind of person I am because people has their own feelings/opinions to me. So the best way is to get to know me and find out by yourself. =)

I recently made a big decision in my life - quit my job I've been working for 4 years and leave for Australia for at least one year. It has been one of my dreams to do some cool adventures and now I am so excited it's coming true!! Though I actually also feel pretty panic and worried for the new life out there...lol Oh well, it is how an adventure should be, right!?

PHILOSOPHY

Go for what you really want.

I don't come from a rich family, but I have the greatest family and parents in the world who always support me. I still remembred my mom even said sorry to me when my uni score was able to get the big sponsorship for studying in Oregon, USA for one year but they could not afford the rest tuition and cost of living. However, even though I did not make it to Oregon for one year, I made it to DC for 6 weeks in 2009 after working every summer&winter holiday during my uni life.

And this has become my attitude toward life. I might not as smart as other people, not as rich as other people, not as free as other people; but I'll achieve what I want and I am capable of.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly go for CS meeting and always open for a cup of coffee! I host people and had some surfing experiences in China, Singapore, Vietnam, Turkey and USA.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I go CS gatherings in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and hung out with some friends I met here, it was awesome to meet people and exchanged thoughts.

My first couchsurfing experience was in Taipei, Taiwan. My host, Tom and Joy are kind, friendly and sweet. It was funny when they handed me the house key (since they were heading out, too) and told me to make myself at home and take food from the fridge...etc. I was kinda shocked and asked "You hand in your key like this to a stranger? You trust me?" (Well, after all that was my first time! lol) They laughed and said to me "Yeah, isn't it the spirit of couchsurfing?"

I met a lot of great, kind people from CS. I admire and always get inspired by their ways of living. CS let me realized how amazing this world is with love and care; how people help each other without asking returns but show you the best way to pay back is to pass on this kindness to others. :)

Same as my "Couchsuring experience" section - I admire and always get inspired by their ways of living. CS let me realized how amazing this world is with love and care; how people help each other without asking returns but show you the best way to pay back is to pass on this kindness to others. :)
