About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Exlpore as much of Europe as possible!
ABOUT ME
I'm a student from Sydney currently on exchange to Copenhagen for 6 months, and I'm trying to experience as much of Europe as possible while I'm over here. Lover of all things science, as well as good films, calligraphy, and cooking great food (well, sometimes it's great...). One of the greatest experiences I life I believe lies in actually getting to know new people, and knowing those you already do that much more.
PHILOSOPHY
While this perhaps isn't very original, the one thought that has stuck with me in how I live my life was a saying from Mahatma Gandhi that I read a long time ago that says: "To give pleasure to a single heart by a single act is better than a thousand heads bowing in prayer."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment, telling other people about CS, and how it works.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed once in Aarhus, Denmark with Jesper Regel which was an amazing experience - it has only made me want to keep couchsurfing! It actually surprised me just how welcoming and generous people can be...Jesper even invited myself and my two friends to his family brunch even after only knowing us for a day! I've also stayed with people several times through the Hospitality Club.

Music, Movies, and Books
Films of all shapes and sizes, personal favourites include Little Miss Sunshine, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Dan in Real Life, Science of Sleep. I enjoy film festivals too and wish I could go to Sundance! Love trying out new music, anything really - from rock to jazz. U2, Coldplay, David Gray, Elixir, John Butler Trio, Sarah Blasko, Bruce Springsteen...even Eurovision contestants (but perhaps more for a good laugh than anything else!).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tie between walking through Kata Tjuta in the Northern Territory (near Uluru) and boating down Milford Sound in New Zealand. Both experiences have made me feel such a fundamental respect and awe for the world we live in...its a feeling that I think is very rare as we go about our day to day lives surrounded by things we've built or created. It's nice to be reminded of the amazing things that exist regardless of whether you exist or not.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love all things about science...so if you want to know anything about chemistry, or mathematics I can do my best to help...or even if you just want to know some interesting facts!
