I'm a quirky and odd vegan college student that's into piercings and tattoos who likes to read a lot and spend a lot of time outside at all times of the year - especially in mountains. I'll also be doing a lot of traveling with my partner, Ky.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet embarked on a couchsurfing adventure, but hopefully I'm exploits this summer in Europe will help mend that sad fact.

Interests

I like cooking and baking vegan food. Reading.
Watching movies that run the gamut from ridiculous to action to SciFi to documentary to...basically most everything, minus romantic comedies. I also enjoy finding and frequenting independent bookstores. Some favorites include: City Lights, Elliot Bay Book Co., and Politics and Prose.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books, books, so many books. They are too numerous to list, so some brief authors/titles/genres include: Dune, Mike Davis, Vandana Shiva, Sherman Alexie, V for Vendetta, Understories, The Yellow-Lighted Book Shop, etc.
Movies. All time favorites include just about anything associated with Tim Burton, Death to Smoochy, the Star Wars Trilogy, and Indiana Jones.
Music. I have a rather eclectic taste in music that includes: Rise Against, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, John Coltrane, KMFDM, Tracy Chapman, and Pearl Jam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

8th grade class field trip to Yosemite - cross country skiing at night under a full moon with fresh snow.
