About Me
CURRENT MISSION
never loose your curiosity
ABOUT ME
I am a 60-year female and almost 15 years a biology teacher and science for public understanding. I am open-minded, always curious person. Besides my paid job, I am also a volunteer at the sports club, neighbour help organisations and as a board member of the local choir.
I have an allotment in which I grow my own (organic) vegetables. Partly I preserve the harvest in fermented pickles. The hens provide fresh eggs and, once a year the meat we eat.
Curiosity keeps one alive!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started my couch surfing experience in 2011, being hosted in the US. Now I already have hosted several couch surfers and I am always amazed by their stories, dreams, ideas, etc.. Talking with guests is like travelling mentally to those places they visited, will be visiting or where they come from.
Interests
nature, sports, reading, singing. I grow my own (organic) vegetables, apply al kinds of fermentation techniques and I am a real 'vegetable cook'.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music, movies and books: from singer songwriters to classical music like Mahler. I love to watch movies but find little time to do so and I always forget the names of the movies. I love to read even more: mainly English - different styles from Booker Prize winning to unknown small authors.
