About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I wish to visit some beautful English cities and I believe that with the help of the others couchserfers I will be able to do that!

ABOUT ME

Open-minded, I'm always eager to visit new places and meet interesting people and have some good time with them and share new experience, ideas. I may be a little shy at the beginning, but after we'll know each other more it's gonna be great! I'm a music freak, I listen to a lot of bands, I'm always willing to give some recomendations for everyone. I can as well have a drink, play video games and just have fun with nice people!

PHILOSOPHY

Currently I'm undergoing through some changes. I try to be more polite to people, control my negative emotions towards others. I believe that doing good and helping other people in need is a proper way to live. I'm a quite emotional guy, I'm often very compassionate, I wish I could help those who are in need.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer one night mattress sleep for some lonely soul at Grimsby and in the future I can invite you guys to Wrocław and Opole in Poland and show you around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sadly, none yet! I'm a beginner but I wish to be a worthy couchsurfer to everyone. Sometimes I gave shelter to my polish friends at my place, sometimes I was in need of a place to sleep. I know the basics of how to behave, not disturb anyone and leave the place where I lived clean and nice.

Interests

I used to play on drum kit, I'm a big fan o music: listening to it, exploring new genres and bands, going on live show and much more. I'm interested in psychedelic society as well: visionary art, debations and afterlife and the structure of the universe. I finished University and got degree at Sociology in Poland. I used to play video games, I love reading books and doing some outdoor activity such as running and cycling. I used to cook a lot with me ex-girlfriend and from time to time I stille prepare some food. And I love cats.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: there are many of the, actually: Pulp fiction, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Melancholy, Requiem for a dream, Inception, The Dark Knight.

Music: Music: A lot of different genres, actually: from rock (alternative, progressive, post-rock, psychedelic, hard, metal, jazz, dark-jazz, instrumental, acid, classic, metal, black metal, death metal, post-metal, grunge) to electronic (ambient, trance, psytrance, trip-hop, chillout, downtempo, minimal, drum 'n bass, goa, dubstep). My favourite bands include Tool, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, Archive, Placebo, Isis, The Doors, The Mars Volta, Gorillaz and dozens more. You can ask me for my Last.fm profile if you're interested.

Books: the Dark Tower series by Stephen King and many others of his titles, poetry of Charles Bukowski, Poetry and lyrics by Marcin Swietlicki, Kazik Staszewski, books by Hunter Thompson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seem a live Tool Band show in Katowice.

Me and my friends had a whole night throught the forest in -20 degrees Celcius and than we made a fireplace in the middle of frozen lake and ate Sausages. Still in -20 of course. I was doing some mountain trips with sleeping in the tents at night, it was very enriching experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can learn people about some polish traditions, the basics of playing on drums, I can show them new musical bands, new genres. I'll try to convince people to a little more active lifestyle: going outdoors more often, riding a bike, swimming, enjoying the slightest nature's charms, looking at the evening sky, birds and going to forest to try to connect with nature.
