ABOUT ME

Hello! I love the outdoors and frequently hike and climb in the mountains of Colorado. I strive to be progressive minded, forward thinking and environmentally conscious believing as a world we can work together to promote a better future for everyone. I sometimes fear the power large corporations appear to be gaining on our lives and question if this is a good thing.

I am presently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science researching Cloud Computing. I believe "the cloud" will revolutionize how the web is hosted enabling the ever growing number of internet devices: smart phone, iPads, etc.

I'm vegetarian sine 2003, but do occasionally eat fish and dairy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am fairly new to couch surfing, and had positive experiences while traveling to France during the fall of 2011. In graduate school at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia USA I shared an apartment with a French roommate for 1 year. I have many friends who are traveling internationally and that speak Spanish.

I've climbed several mountains in the Canadian Rockies... Including a peak very much like Europe's Matterhorn.
