ABOUT ME
I recently graduated from Emory University in Atlanta in May 2013, and moved back to my hometown, Reno. I have since helped manage a local art festival (ARTown), pursued my studies in mathematics with further coursework, and spent a lot of time at an artist collective in Reno known as the Generator. I recently applied for a Burning Man art grant for 2014. I also have been recovering from a shoulder surgery, which is a primary reason I have stayed in Reno.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in the individual.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope to share some of my ideas and experience with others, while likewise learning from others. I don't currently have an available couch, but I'm looking forward to hosting couch surfers when I have a more permanent living situation.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met a girl on a plane home from school once and ended up crashing at her place in Big Sky Montana two months later. Since then I have surfed in Brazil and the United States, staying with people from this website and otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite author is probably Steinbeck, but I love literature, philosophy, and anything that challenges me to think differently.
I enjoy most music, especially live. I'm a Deadhead who loves any music I can get my hands on, practically. Genres include, but certainly aren't limited to Psychedelic Rock, Progressive Rock, Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass, Country, House, Glitch, Downtempo, Midtempo, and anything with a groove and a good noise.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ive been to some very beautiful places around this world and met some amazing people. I think it would be a diservice to prioritize a single thing.
Teach, Learn, Share
