ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Wendy, I'm 27 years old. I live in Larbert, a small town right in the centre of Scotland. It has easy access (30-45 minutes) to both Edinburgh and Glasgow by rail and bus.
I'm a Healthcare Scientist working in a busy Haematology department. I love my job and enjoy meeting other related professionals. I've just started a distance-learning masters which is proving to be time-consuming and a lot of hard work!
I also volunteer with a community based job in my spare time.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe it's important to have a degree of ambition but am slowly learning to incorporate back-up plans in life!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed before and hosted several times in my old flat. I'm now back after a while away as I now have my spare room back and looking forward to travelling more this year!

Interests

I like to spend my freetime with friends or family. I spend a lot of time walking/camping in Scotland with my dog, I enjoy cooking and baking, love to go to the cinema and catching up with friends in a pub.

I'm interested in learning a new language, particularly French.

I like all sorts of movies but especially enjoy comedies.

Musically I like indie/alternative but also enjoy pop. I'm fairly easy going when it comes to music.
