ABOUT ME

I'm a bit more than half way through university! Enjoying my time during, looking forward to the time after as well. Currently having a busy semester... :.

I live at a student housing, a so called "kollegium", housing 450 students. We are 15 people sharing a kitchen and each have separate rooms and bathrooms. I enjoy this way of living, always having someone around, but being able to have your own space as well.

At Uni as well I'm active in the social sphere. I'm in the "sexexpress", under the scora-programme of the IFMSA, a group promoting a safe, healthy and good relationship to sex among youths. Schools hire us to come and talk with the "kids" as medical students and peers, rather than having and ancient teacher who can't even bring him/herself so say "penis" in front of a class. I use much of my time with this group cause they're an awesome bunch of people!

I amm more or less active politically; depending on how much time I have from one period in time to another.
I ready to talk about it of course, but respect if you prefer not to :)

For my future I hope to put myself at use in doctors without boarders. I feel like I should give a little back for having received so much from traveling. But appart from that I have no idea as to specializing.

Open mind and open heart. Nothing is right or wrong, good or bad, but sometimes just different.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only surfed a few times, and only hosted once. At the moment I am traveling, and when at home I enjoy meeting new people and also going to do some of the stuff 'round my city and the locals rarely do :P So hosting is great and being hosted obviously is too :)

Interests

I like outdoorsy stuff! Trekking , kayaking, paragliding, camping, campfires, sleeping in a tent, getting away the city. Sometimes it's good just to get into another city for a change as well.
I enjoy different cultures, people, opinions, religions (I'm not religious myself though) and not least FOOD! Foods of the world have special place in my heart, haha.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music. This would be a really loooong list.

Movies: Rent, Summer storm, priscilla queen of the deser to name a few and to toss around a hint. But anything really. Except I'm really bad at scary movies.

Books. But I don't read nearly as much as I'd like too or should. But I do enjoy a good book. I like reading in good company actually.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach you anything you want to know, but don't expect me to have the slightest clue on what I'm talking about, haha.

I have a few dishes that I cook up pretty well, and would really love to learn to cook some of your local cuisine :P
