ABOUT ME

Finished architecture school about 2 years ago and have been traveling sporadically since then. I was born and raised in the suburbs but have since discovered my love for the city. I am greatly looking forward to living somewhere big, noisy, and fully of energy. I’m easy-going and generally up for anything. Good company and good conversation are the only two things I need to have an enjoyable night…and maybe some good music playing. Oh and beer… I never met a beer I didn’t like.

PHILOSOPHY

Treat people with respect. Embrace the uncertainty that comes from new experiences and avoid complacency. And to quote the mission of another CSer: Be able "to look you in the eye and be completely at ease." I think that's incredibly elegant.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosting and surfing. I'm about to do some surfing and hopefully soon afterward will have my own place so I can return the favor.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing continues to amaze me. For two weeks I surfed on and off in Holland and Switzerland, and my fondest memories were of the people I met and the experiences we shared. I have since hosted several couchsurfers and enjoy it immensely.

I'm really into architecture, photography (especially Polaroids lately), traveling, music... I love playing sports. Hockey is most definitely my favorite, but I'll play almost anything because I'm pretty competitive when it comes to this. Let's see... I play the guitar occasionally, but I probably won't agree to sing unless I'm good an liquored up! StumbleUpon. If you don't know what this is, you should. I was on a juggling kick for a little while.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

While in Murren, Switzerland with my friend Shayan we decided on a whim to hike up an incredibly steep mountain trail. We were ill-prepared...I think we were wearing jeans and some crappy shoes, and we had only a little water and a few apples. 2 hours later and 2000 ft higher, exhausted, we somehow stumbled upon this restaurant on the mountain; a restaurant and nothing else! Waiting for us were two bottles of ice cold Swiss water, macaroni and cheese, and the best goddamn view I have ever seen.
