HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about this through a friend some time ago and once I got to partake in the glory that is Couchsurfing I knew it was a good thing. I recently moved into a house so while I'm acclimating to the new crib I've postponed hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with
- a lovely couple and their friends in London. they were a great introduction into how awesome this network is.
- a charming couple in Normandy.
- a juggler in Paris and laid back resident of Saint Denis.
- a driver just outside of Brussels.
- a very cool scientist just outside of Hamburg.
- an art teacher in Cologne.
- a programmer in Prague who loved my cooking.
- a footballer and his crazy Aussie roommate in Vienna.
- a party-crazed, moped rider in Malaga.
- an American in downtown Paris.
- a traveling, poker playing couple in Bournemouth.
- a cheery lady in Edinburgh and spent a night in a tree house.
- I've had travelers surf my couch, via couch requests and emergency couch request.

I was in Hong Kong when the tsunami happened in the Indian Ocean. I went there to help with relief. I've hiked to the top of a mountain in Japan and meditated at a temple that's thousands of years old. In Harlem, I played basketball with kids who had never left their neighborhood.
