About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to see what there is to see and enjoy whenever I can. Also, to meet all the best people and let them have an influence on my life, and hopefully have an influence on theirs.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a German family in California. When I'm not traveling, hiking, chilling out, or going out, I I study for my BA in theater. I studied my first year in Santa Cruz California, and am doing my second year in cork Ireland. I am not studying the acting side of theater but rather the scenic, lighting, and sound design and construction side of things. Ive recently started to longboard and decided that its the sport for me. I am quite sociable. I would just as soon stay in, have a beer, and talk, as i would be to go out and have a night on the town. I really love to be awed by things; anything from nature to architecture, from performance art to the art that you find on the walls of alleyways. While I love to have company when I go out to see the world I am also entirely comfortable getting some time to see the world by myself. Lastly, one of my favorite parts about traveling is meeting the people. I want to meet you!

PHILOSOPHY

whatever floats your boat.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a big fan of Scifi, but i will get into anything thats captivating and well written. Authors that I like include: Neal Stephenson, Neal Gaimen, Orson Scottcard, Tolkien, Shakespeare, and many more. Lately I've also been very much enjoying The Picture Of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde. For movies I really loved Fight Club, most things by Tarantino, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Garden State, and others that I can't remember and you will just have to ask me to find out. I have a very wide range of music that I enjoy. Some of my favorite bands are: Streetlight Manifesto (and lots of other ska) Mumford and Sons, Lettuce, Sublime, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, most other classic rock, I like a lot of modern electronic music but am less versed in band names. I like a lot of folk music, and definently have a soft spot for blues, anything from Muddy Waters to Stevie Ray Vaungh. Talk music with me, I really enjoy it and love learning about new bands.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ive seen mountains made out of Granite as far as the eye can see. I've climbed to the tops of those mountains and screamed into the vast empty space from the top. I've seen beaches made out agates with giant sandstone cliffs right behind them (Patrick's Point in Northern California) Ive seen water falls so high that the Water turns to vapor before it gets to the pool at the bottom. I'm always looking for things to see or do that will make good memories and excellent stories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some basic guitar, ukulele, or harmonica. i can teach some longboarding (even though I haven't been at it for that long) and i can treach you spoken German.I would love to learn some more cooking, or honestly anything that someone would like to show or teach to me. Oh, if you have one, I will teach you how to solve a Rubix Cube!
