ABOUT ME

Hey everyone! I'm Drizzt and my dog is Admiral Cedar Barkley. I'm a professional violinist traveling across the country with my girlfriend, Kim (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/kim-lauder) I've been across the country and back a couple of times now. I've been living in Alaska during the Summers and traveling through the winters. Currently in Orlando for the winter! I would love to meet some new folks along the way!

PHILOSOPHY

I'll always be able to sit. One day though, I may not be able to walk. Taking advantage and appreciating every moment I get to explore and experience the beauty of the world we live in.

While going across country I've traveled with multiple people using Couch Surfing and meeting great people. I love being able to get to know the area through the eyes of locals. I enjoy meeting other unique people and exploring.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first journey out on my own, I set out on a street founded-cross country-tour with a band I met in Columbia SC. We made it all the way across the country playing music on the sidewalk for money. I've seen more than I ever had and it was an amazing time. We made it to Santa Monica then my guitarist and I drove an Aston Martin back home through the many gorgeous terrains across the country. It set a hunger for adventure that has yet to be quelled. Since then, I've zigzagged all over. Back and forth between oceans seeing new people and things all the while. I lived in San Francisco for a while in Fall of 2015. Then moved to Alaska in April 2016.
Alaska has been an adventure. I lived in the mountains and on the beach in a shelter I built in Juneau all Summer while I busked playing violin for the cruise ships that come to Port. During the winter, I worked at a local bar & grill specializing in halibut. Now, Summer has returned and I am back to the docks to play my music and continue the adventure!

I worked on farms for 4 years. One memory in particular is riding horses into the pond on the property. That was truly beautiful. The water was the perfect temperature and the trees and grasses around the pond were gorgeous. The horses loved the water and played in it as much as I.
