About Me
Hey there!
I'm a 32 year old woman who loves classical music, pasta, red wine, dancing and talking with new friends.
I'm a writer and marketer by trade, but I love to teach English and I also help foreigners in Mexico to improve their Spanish.
I play violin, love to scuba dive and go hiking.
I can't resist lasagna and salsa music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have decided that I no longer want the 9-5 lifestyle and it's time to explore the world!
I started learning Spanish for the love of the language in 2016 and since then, I have met some amazing people from Spain and Latin America so I started a hige trip around the Spanish-speaking world. I started in Spain in 2018, then I went to Mexico and stayed for almost a year....now I'm off to Colombia.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: salsa, bachata, tropical house, classical, funk
Author: Elizabeth Gilbert - Eat Pray Love, Big Magic
Movie: Finding Nemo - combines my love of the ocean with my country Australia!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ran into a great white shark one day on a dive on the south coast of Victoria, Australia. I survived with all my limbs still intact, and the story made the TV news the next night!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach English, and since I have a C1 level of Spanish, I feel that we will be able to communicate and share very well!
I also love to talk about cultural differences between Australia and other countries. I can share about our economy, our politics, our nature, our hilarious slang, music, anything you're interested in!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think I answered above, but I can share my new English teaching techniques. I would be happy for students to practise on.
