ABOUT ME

I'm from the east coast originally, raised in Connecticut just an hour or so from NYC, studied a bit in New York state, lived then for nearly a year in New Mexico and then moved to Boston. Now I'm here! I try to be open minded with just about everything within reason. I'm a pretty hardcore liberal, I like to read and write, i'm working on a fiction piece now. I'm not super religious and don't agree with people trying to impress such ideals on others. I try very much to get along with just about everyone and believe that more often than not understanding will bring greater happiness than judgement. Also I'm a Pisces and genuinely enjoy long walks on the beach. I mean really, whats not to like about that.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the golden rule, in honesty, integrity and personal accountability. I think in many cases, the choices we have are clear as are the actions that we take with respect to them. That being said, I think its our responsibility to enjoy the sh*t out of life and make each day as great for ourselves and others as we can!
I haven't completely figured out why I live my life yet, but I would measure my impact by how many people I think would show up for my funeral, and of course whether they'd be celebrating or mourning. I mean, I know that sounds kinda dour, but it's more just to symbolize the effects we have on people and the bonds we create throughout our lives, and I think a lot of importance comes from those such things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I couch surfed through Boston without couch surfer for a little more than a year. I've known lots of people who use couch surfer and we've just hosed our first surfer and I hadn't even set up the profile yet, just a matter of circumstance I guess. Since we've been here, we seem to have been an unofficial couch surfing mecca for friends and friends of friends so we thought, "Oh, why the heck not." I once stayed for a bit in a closet in a crazy house Boston with a pipe running trough it and charcoal cave paintings on the walls.

Interests

Writing is what I like and am going to school to do. But I love all kinds of music, and like movies, horror movies are great, but also good comedy, and sci-fi... I studied philosophy for a while and enjoy debate, I also like cooking, so if your lucky you might be around for some pretty ok grub.
