ABOUT ME

Hi there, my name is Chien-Wu in my country, but you can call me Woody which had been called by my colleague in gallery, further more, you can call me "gush", which i always use it on internet.
I was born in 1984 in Tainan, which is the best city in Taiwan. She's an ancient city and famous from best food in this little island.
I am a person who can see details and sensitive to world, due to the training of literature in college and the contemporary art interpretations in gallery work. If there's a word to fit my character best, it might be "serendipity"
I am considered cynical in Taiwan. In Taiwan, people have to live under any circumstances without complaining or criticizing. People here are taught to face the destiny.
However I am not that kind of person, due to the developing democracy and the education in Taiwan. I learned to see stuffs with different point of views. Therefore I somehow criticize things unfair and unacceptable...like capitalist (in Taiwan) and education systems (in taiwan)
I am a person who enjoys life, due to the sensitivity cultivated by my literature and contemporary art training. I believe the doctrine of the mean, therefore I am always considered as a person with ambiguity and
contradiction.
I like different cultures. Cultures seem to connect with ancient people of specific races. To retrieve cultures are exciting.

I've realized I was a person who wants to own something, which will be a burden of my trip. I am trying to be a better person than I was, therefore I quit my job and left everything I used to know. However I still brought something belongs to me here in AUS.

I am now in Chaos, but not culture shock. This trip does something amazing on me, i will figure it out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had one CS experience with Carmen Ansaldo and her best family: Allen, Dunken, Erina, Joe and Tim(from alphabet). They treat me like their family and help me lots of things while I was totally newbie to Brisbane. That IS a beautiful, touching, soothing CS experience.

i have rented a nearly 200-year-old wooden building, and transform it into a gallery which experimentally held contemporary art exhibitions. After what i've done, whole city got crashed into old building transforming.

i have rode my motobike from Hualien city(in taiwan) to Taroko National Park, and slide my bike without holding any 1 time break along the mountain roads.

every girlfriend i have dated with went abroad by her own mind, then i never hear any news from her.
