ABOUT ME

I enjoy meeting new people, and am rarely intimidated by anyone. I think that family is important, and that family includes the one you're born into as well as the friends you see as family.
I feel I'm well traveled for my age, but I would love to explore more of what the world has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry.
I'm still working on that, but the older I get, I see how much of my energy has been spent on unnecessary stress. Also, it dosn't matter what people think...most of the time they don't really know you enough to pass judgement.

I have a sectional couch that can sleep two as well as a furnished spare bedroom, and they're pretty comfortable.

I love love love to read, but I don't have a favorite genre. Favorites include Amy Tan, Augusten Bourroughs. Right now I'm reading Ken Follet's Pillars of the Earth.
As for movies, my favorites are: Boondock Saints,
Guy Richie Films, Everything is Illuminated, Pumpkin, Office Space, The Big Lebowski
I like any kind of music. I've really gotten into the bluegrass scene since I've moved back to TN.

The best discoveries I've had on trips abroad are when I put the map away and just walk for a couple of hours. When I feel I'm lost enough, then I get the map out. I always seem to find something this way that everyone else in the group misses out on.
