After several years of training for refrigeration technicians, I want to take a time out and travel around the South Pacific for diving and photography
I am a late thirties single man.
At this time I’m living in a three-room apartment in the environment of Basel.
Next spring I want to take a break and start an expedition to the South Pacific for scuba diving, photography and get to know the culture.
I want to document my journey in pictures and words, right now i build my own website.
At my journey I'm looking forward to get to know interesting people with extraordinary lifestyles,
telling stories from their lives and make pictures of them.
Since about a half year I'm a member at the CouchSurfing community.
The reason for this was that I will explore from next April for an indefinite period the Pacific Ocean and Southeast Asia.
I only have a few contacts on CouchSurfing but I hope during my trip to meet many new and positiv peoples.
Besides getting to know new peoples, cultures, customs and traditions, I want to dive and shoot images as much how it's possible. exploring the islands of course too.
I want to document my journey wiht pictures and words, right now i build my own website. At my journey I'm looking forward to get to know interesting people with extraordinary lifestyles, telling stories from their lives and make pictures of them.
I’m a mechanic by profession, 10 years ago I finished an apprenticeship as a refrigeration mechanic and last fall I completed the university as a refrigeration engineer.
During this time I could do a bit of money on the side, now I be able to realize my dream.
This year in mid-April at Panama, I will probably start , to searching for a sailingtour to Galapagos Island.
I intend to stay about a month around Galapagos. Then I move on to French Polynesia, Micronesia, Papu New Guinea, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Palau, Melanesia, Hawaii and finish the trip after two years at California.
As a Divemaster with about 600 dives, I have already dived at a lot of areas on the world. Now I hope to find dream islands and reefs for diving at my expedition.
I am a very simple person and prefer the spontaneous life. I will also travel in this way.
My pictures and text about my experiences, I write down on my website. If you want, visit my Web-side "www.world-diver.net. The site is written currently unfortunately only in german.
Now I'm looking for cool people around the Pazific.
face your fears, live your dreams, just do it now
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I invite you to get to know me and my surroundings, or just let’s have a coffee.
Since end of November, I'm a couch surfer and I look forward to make new friends.
I let myself be surprised!
I'm a passionate scuba diver and I keep my impressions with a camera. I like to travel everywhere,
far away from tourist flows to get to know native people and local cultures .
I prefer the ease of travel without luxury. But sometimes I enjoy a comfortable accommodation too, to recuperate from the hardships. After a strange accident, I gave up paragliding.
I still love the wind and want to learn to sail.
