ABOUT ME

My name is Mayank and I am now back in 'Murica and living in Downtown LA. Before I was in Namibia working as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer for an Local NGO. I am an avid traveler. I am very spontaneous person who likes to try new things, visit new places and up for anything fun. I am firm believer of "Why Not" and I enjoy culture, religion and specially food.
I am big into cooking and enjoy cooking for friends and familes. I played 4 years of high school football when i was pretty big.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I host, get hosted, go to events, and help out my local Csurfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met some local couch surfers at a meet up and started to build a new friendship with Csurfers because I felt we all share the same philosophy of traveling meeting new people and being open minded.
I had already done couch surfing and hosted people locally before but didn't know about the website now I can't wait to connect with people all around the world through this website. In the future I would like to host and couch surf with as many people as I can so I can build new friendship with people from diverse background all around the world.

Books: The Alchemist (my bible), Kitchen Confidential, Liars Poker.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done so far is joining Peace Corps and moving to Namibia, Africa for two years.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn how to Skydive and scuba dive. I know how to cook Indian and Mexican food but i want to learn how to cook french and Italian cuisine.
I would also like to learn different languages specially french and Spanish because these languages are so beautiful.
I want to share all of my experience with anyone who would like to share it with me.
