I'm a young adventurous easy going Belgian travel addict, who lives for having new experiences and meeting new people. I hate routine and love every day being different then the one before. I have traveled over a lot of countries so far, but the world is such a big and beautiful place I can't wait to visit new countries and get totally lost in their beauty! I'm a good talker, like to have discussions about a lot of things, like to try new foods and traditions and share my own experiences in other peoples lives as well. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle with lot's of gym hours and good food, and am defenitely adventurous and outgoing. If you're like minded we will defenitly have an amazing time! Cheers, Wouter :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I am preparing for my next big trip which will bring me to the Philipines, Thailand, Australia, Los Angeles, Cancun, Mexico city, Colombia, Argentina and eventually Peru.. I have not yet figured out the exact dates but the great outlines have been made and I have already booked my single ticket to Manilla on the 24th of November. I am defenitly spending NY at Koh Pangan for full moon, and will travel from there to Queensland Australia. I would love to meet people along the way who want to travel with me, as well as awesome local residents who don't mind having this Belgian as their company for a certain period :)

Interests

I like to keep my mind and body occupied, I go to the gym religiously and try as hard as I can to keep a healthy lifestyle apart from the occasional steady drinking night followed up by a full detox day haha :)! I like to listen to classical music, read books, experience new things, eat food I never ate, drink wine I never had, pretty much get out of my comfort zone as much as I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year to date I will have visited Sydney-Melbourne-Fiji-Beijing-Xian-Guilin-Shanghai-Kiev-Brussels-Paris-Lyon-Nice-SaintTropez-Monaco-Barcelona-London-Amsterdam-Berlin-Cologne.

You might not think this is something amazing, but I broke my ankle and was hospitalized in Sydney on the 1st of January this year. I accumulated a huge debt because I was not insured, so as soon as I was back on my feet had to start work combining 5 jobs at the same time only 2 weeks after the hospital discharged me. I combined all of that hard work together with multiple trips, paid off my debt and saved enough to get me set for my next big adventure 10 months later :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of stories, interesting conversations, extended discussions, personal ideas, experiences, knowledge, pretty much everything I would like to get back out of this experience. I always like to think that like minded people attract each other and this always turns out to be a great experience!
