ABOUT ME

Currently studying English--creative writing in upstate New York for the next few years, so would enjoy some novelty! Music and cinema fanatic (and obviously literature). In surrounding areas, the landmarks/hikes are stellar as the wine trails. Previously, I worked at a woman's sexual assault and battered shelter and then decided to apply for graduate school. Advocacy, eating, wine, writing, and coffee are all of equal importance (wine is slightly higher).

I recently moved to New York; I can barely sustain living at my place (with the unpacked or lack thereof furniture) so it would be difficult for overnights, but I am DEFINITELY interested in hosting events/activities/tour-goddess

Movies: love the horror and thriller genre across all sub-genres and countries

Music: Delta Blues (R.L. Burnside/Robert Belfour), Soul(Otis Redding/Aretha Franklin), Funk (Betty Davis/Ohio Players), Electronic (Daedulus/Junior Boys), Jazz (Christian Scott/Coltrane), Hip-Hop (Foreign Exchange/Saul Williams), Afrobeat (Fela Kuti/1907s Nigerian afrobeat), Neo Soul (Jill Scott/Quadroon), Metal (Into Eternity/Strapping Young Lad) and always, forever into Prince/Micheal Jackson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm pretty sure I heard a deer actually whisper something once, but other than that...still waiting for "enlightenment."
