ABOUT ME

Let's start with what we both share. We are both cat herders. We take care of four lovely cats. We also live with a dog that helps us to keep this herd together.

We are both vegans, passionate about food, so we travel to eat. We even sometimes manage to surprise our hosts when get back from local market with food they haven't seen before. We try to experience the local cuisine as much as possible, however not every nation's habits help us to do that.

We like to cook even more than to eat, so we try to cook local food with our hosts or the give them a chance to try polish cuisine.

Zosia is a baker, unfortunately still without a bakery. She is also an animal right activist in Otwarte Klatki association. When not busy with planning next campaign or cooking, she is occupied with massaging cats.

Rudy is amateur chef, aspiring tofu master and wannbe musician. During his day job he is a software craftsman organizing few local user groups.

We both love books from Haruki Murkami and Charles Bukowski. We collect cookbooks, we have tons of them and we try to get one on each trip.

Rudy lately started enjoying Czech writers, especially Bohumil Hrabal and Milan Kundera. He reads Philip Roth, Henry Miller, John Fante and others. From time to time tries to understand poetry.

Zosia is the real curator of our cookbooks library, she always finds a position that needs to be on our shelf. She likes books by Grażyna Jagielska, Tomek Michniewicz and Isaac Signer. Reads everything about Second World War.

We listen to all kinds of music: electronic, folk, rock and jazz. Rudy is alwyas digging into new electronic labels, while Zosia tend to drift towards folk and rock.

And finally the movies, we'll watch anything from Woody Allen, Francis Ford Coppola, Lars von Trier, Coen brothers, Stanley Kubrick, Terry Gilliam or Pedro Almodovar. We enjoy every Czech surreal comedy, Krtek and movies where Antonio Banderas shwos his sexy buttocks.

We love to cook. So lets share some knowledge. We can teach you a little bit of Polish cuisine or make a vegen burger with you. We are always open for rolling a sushi.
