ABOUT ME

From small town to big city. Very laid back, love all of life's amazing experiences. Always looking to learn new things, explore new places, meet new people. Spent most of the last eight years in Seattle and Portland, looking forward to exploring the rest of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Everywhere there are people who need help. I enjoy helping people. Everywhere there are people who will share that joy. One person at a time and systemically, I hope to change the world to better reflect the single most important reality: Love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted a few very friendly internationals with my roommates in Seattle. Currently traveling, homeless. Settling down in the Fall for law school will allow me to host again in Seattle. For now, getting a chance to see the U.K. and couchsurf with some cool people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosting was a great experience. Aubin and Sebastian from France. Looking forward to surfing in London.

Interests

Outdoors, hiking, gardens, sports of any/every kind espec. rock climbing and football/soccer. Playing guitar, literature. Sailing (active in UW sailing club). History, culture, food. People, helping the poor, volunteering. Philosophy, religion.

Music, Movies, and Books

Truth and Beauty are everywhere, even in the meanest art. I am interested in just about every type of film, music, and writing. The stuff I enjoy the most is that which exhibits humility of the artist(s) and respect for the peoples' intelligence and dignity. Art which acknowledges and explores the internal struggles and triumphs of human beings generally strikes me the deepest. If it's cleverly accomplished all the better for the mind.
