I am Chen, I studied mental health counseling and Oral History. My focus is historical trauma. I hope to understand the inner world of people from different backgrounds and be open-minded to the diversity! I did mental health projects in different regions in China with Hmong girls and Tibetan youth. I am waiting for the assignment from MSF (Doctor without Border), and hope I can heal the trauma for those suffering in different countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I read a book about the couchsurfing stories, and I want to be connected with the world especially during the Covid, I felt disconnected to the outside world. In 2024, I started to travel to Japan as my first stop returning to the world!
