i started couchsurfing during my trip in asia. What an amazing discovery ... met really interesting, varied, always hospitable people, that i would have never come across otherwise. and it was so great to know there was someone waiting for me, at the end of my bus or train trip... my time in asia was that much richer as a result of CS!
