ABOUT ME

I live in Homer, Alaska, one of the most beautiful places in the world!

I have a soft spot in my heart for anyone on the road - and I will help when I can. I’m 10 miles from town, and 2 from a main road, so guests with no car will have a harder time. I have a small cabin in a very beautiful spot, with one couch extra. Dog and cat in the home. No running water, but electric and wifi and heat:)

When I am not in Alaska with my love I work for MSF (Doctors Without Borders)

I am an easy going guest, pretty quiet. I love to cook and i can definitely throw down on some dish washing.

I have done a lot of unofficial hosting over the years and met some people through CS that are still friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I believe strongly in the concept of CS. I love the natural bridge it creates between cultures and the space it creates for people to connect.

My main passion is traveling/adventuring/working with a purpose - believe strongly in humanitarian aid and this is what I am working toward, learning about, and following my path to.

I love reading drinking smoking tattoos being outside beaches and mountains and oceans and vast wild sky. I am happiest near water.

I'm pretty shy but I love to meet people and hear the stories.

would love to speak/practice my French with any Francophone surfers!
