About Me

Heyo all fellow friends.

I am a regen agriculture enthusiast, traveller and lover of all things nature. I lived in the EU for almost 8 years, but moved back to the states to pursue deeper connection to land through stewardship. I’m an easy going guy, happy alone and happy with company. Main requirement for me is nature, but I’ve lived in enough big cities to understand the pull to the hustle and bustle.

I’ve lived in England, Germany, and France, born in the US of A. Done quite a bit of WWOF-ing, hitchhiking, tent / backpacking, and cyclotourisme. I’ve used Couchsurfing and WarmShowersfor years. The older I get and the more I travel, the more I like to meet people in unique environments and share moments which are special to that moment and cannot be recreated. Time is a beautiful thing and the impermanence of the moment is what makes it special.

I love to cook, big into football/soccer, music (play guitar), and pretty much all things history. Big fan of all cultures, and always keen to learn wherever I can.

All in all, pretty easy going guy and super comfortable traveling by myself (and with others!) I am a warm-weather kinda guy and super cool with just enjoying the sun wherever I may be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love to help out fellow travelers as well as be helped out myself when needed. I have travelled quite a lot by myself, and its always a great experience to meet others and just embrace the day we are living in.

Also, I believe in the community - I like traveling to places to see the sites, enjoy the nature and experience the place wherever it may be. But more than anything - I want to experience the people and the culture, and in return, share myself and my culture (or an amalgamation of cultures I guess!). I am not a big tourist hotspot guy - don't have social media so I am not one to take pictures for whatever platform it may be - I would rather sit under a tree with some friends (new or old) and share life.

Cycling around france solo for 3 months with just two saddle bags and my tent. Camping in nature - in yards and spending time with people all along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

Like to cook so always down to share that experience, can teach a bit of yoga/breathing/meditation, open to all new experiences

Love to have conversations about anything really.

Happy to share my knowledge of music and guitar
