ABOUT ME

I'm a student journalist who is currently in Halifax for an internship at local media outlet. I like to think of myself as fun and energetic, considerate, and outgoing! I love to meet new people with shared and differing interests and explore our beautiful country.

I lived in Montreal for almost five years before returning home to PEI to continue my education. I worked in music production for a number of years before switching lanes and focusing more on my career as a journalist.

I wanted to experience Halifax differently than I have in the past. I thought it would be really cool to jump around a few different neighbourhoods while I'm here for the month to give myself a better understanding of where things are in the city.

Part of the reason I've enjoyed working in music and as a journalist stem from my love to see and experience new things. It's important for me to meet new people and to trade stories.

I hope Couchsurfing might offer an adventure I wouldn't have expected and friendship that last for years!

I'd love to be able to return the favour to people visiting Charlottetown! I highly recommend visiting in the summer months, I know all the best beach spots!
