Overview
About Me
Howdy there! I’m Wyatt (he/him), a PhD student studying glaciers. I recently moved to Fairbanks from Anchorage. I grew up in upstate New York and found my way to Alaska in 2023.
I’m very into the outdoors, particularly human-powered adventure! Nothing beats a bike ride or run through the woods. Fairbanks has a lot to offer and I'm happy to give recommendations or join you on an adventure. I enjoy playing guitar and singing. Spanish is a second language that I’m working on. I spent 2 months studying in Spain when I was in college.

Music, Movies, and Books
All things SciFi and dystopian futures. The Giver is one of my favorites. I was big into Star Wars growing up.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A solo 500 mile bikepack trip to and from field work!
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy sharing experiences in the outdoors. While I’m still very much learning myself, I’m happy to share the skills I’ve learned while in the Alaskan backcountry. I’ve taught a few CouchSurfers to surf the Bore Tide in Turnagain Arm!
I am always excited to learn new languages. I’d like to learn more about woodworking and farming.
