ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing/easy going, contemplative, not self-conscious about the way I dance....

I had to stop calling myself a student recently to become a teacher. I study disaster relief occasionally. In my travels, I exclude most of the rest of the world to keep exploring more and more of Eastern Europe.

I love festivals, holidays with my family, listening to audio books, cats, and the new Chicarones CD because it makes me laugh.

I'm considering giving it all up one day and become a monk, though I think that will happen way in the future since I'm still agnostic...

I like art in all forms but paperbacks the best.

I have fun having fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new--completely new--BUT I want to visit some new people.
I finally have my own place so I might be able to accommodate as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've slept on a lot of couches in my day--surfed in Kosovo a while back--they have shag sheep pelts on their couches. As for the internet, I talked to some people in NZ randomly on MyLanguageExchange and we all ended up going out for the night--I like that idea of having nothing in common at first but curiosity.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-about to be an uncle
-went contra dancing
-started a website at one point and was rich for a few months then instantly poor again:)
-almost had a near head-on donkey/car collision in Albania
-sat in on lots of Security Council Sessions
-made amazing friends
