ABOUT ME
I'd like to meet new friends & see the world: Europe for the next six months as I'm an Asian student doing an exchange semester in Lund, Sweden.
Being a student on a shoestring, my resources are limited even though I'd love to thank kind hosts by giving them the whole world (unless you're James Bond, then even that might not be enough). I only have my fun company, gratitude, & some might say, intelligent conversation to offer.
I hope this all works out so look out as I update this page with the places that my little bound Asian feet have been (ok I'm kidding, we don't do binding in Asia anymore).
PHILOSOPHY
If it's worth doing, it's worth doing regardless of the result.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Having heard a lot about the joys of CouchSurfing, I was inspired to sign up for it. In this season, I hope to meet new friends who can host me. I would love to host people in Lund, Sweden when i'm not traveling too!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
New to this so I'm still finding my way around and looking for a good travel experience
Interests
Chuck Palahniuk wrote in Fight Club, "This is your life and it's ending one minute at a time." I find that jarringly true, and am motivated to make the most of each stage in life.
At my present stage, before my body creaks and my commitments grow too serious, I seek
- physical adventure: to trek mountains, volcanos & glaciers, to cannonball into lakes and such
- sport where I play Floorball competitively and many more sports leisurely
- travel to broaden my horizons: to make new friends from different places, to see different sights of the world and gambol around in its nature and beauty

- clubbing

Music, Movies, and Books
I love indie alternative music like the The Weepies, The Rescues, Ingrid Michaelson.
Books and movies-wise, I go for absurdist stuff like Alice in Wonderland, Chuck Palahniuk and Neil Gaiman. Absurdism really is such a wonderful trippy genre!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hopping off a 12m high bridge in Bled, Slovenia. I chickened out and tucked my legs upwards before i landed in the water, resulting in mighty fine blue blacks on both thighs. I'm glad i dared to try that (what was i thinking!) but once is enough!
Countries I’ve Visited
Norway
Countries I’ve Lived In
